The colourful month long Kings Park Festival is organised every year in the month of September and witnesses around 500,000 footfalls in Kings Park and Botanic Gardens, which is around 1000 acres and is a home to 319 species of unique plant species and around 80 bird species.

Held against a backdrop of blossoming plants, Kings Park Festival is not one of the Australia Festival Holidays but a celebration of floral displays along with live music, colourful exhibitions, interactive workshops, interpretive artworks and free guided walks across the Park.
