Swine Flu Dominating Travel News
Submitted by Travel Reporters on Fri, 05/01/2009 - 13:05
Monitoring the travel news the past week has brought that "Groundhog Day" feeling.
The news has been dominated by stories relating to the Swine Flu. From travel advisories, restrictions, recommendations, to a Vice President's slip, it's all about the Swine Flu.
Here's a rundown of what's going on:
White house apologizes for Biden's remarks to stay away from enclosed spaces like airplanes and subways (link).
Google tracking Swine Flu (link).
Spread of Swine Flu in Mexico possible slowing (link).
Keep an eye out on this. It could clearly go either way (pandemic of fizzle out to nothing).
Traveling is something too many people love to see it be locked down for any period of time (a worst case scenario).
