China, as the most populous country in the world, seemed an intimidating place to travel to me at first. However, in reality, the week or so I spent there was one of the most interesting weeks of travel I’ve ever had. In fact, it was an unrivaled experience. Sure, Beijing, and Hong Kong are massive, but the countryside is peaceful, rural, and pristine.
