If you’re looking for a great romantic vacation, the Maldives is one of the top places to go. It’s a territory made up of little islands and atolls. It’s full of beautiful beaches and gorgeous lagoons.

I should tell you that I’m not from there. I just think it’s fabulous. To me it’s the ideal location for a vacation. There are quite a few wonderful luxury resorts there. Perfect for honeymoons or romantic getaways.

Some of the resorts have over-water thatched huts. You don’t even have to leave your room to visit the ocean. If you like snorkelling or diving, it’s a great place to go. The lagoons are full of tropical fish and other marine life.

My favourite resort in the Maldives in the Taj Exotica. Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and Kurumba are also great. They are like little islands of pampering. Full of beaches and great food, they have spas to really relax you, and gorgeous accommodations.

In all my researching of resort destinations (which I do a lot of), I haven’t found a place that beats the Maldives. If you head that way, have a great time!
