Why and When to Book Australia Flights
Indiscriminate parties, endless heart thudding adventure sports, vast sunny beaches with incredible sun, sand and surf, dense mysterious rainforests, huge rugged mind numbing mountains – tickets to Australia promise all this and a lot more. Be it watching the beguiling beauty of enormous barren deserts or shopping to your wallet’s limit, Australia teems with different seduction tricks. Being a cultural melting pot, the country is a happy hunting ground for gastronomic adventures as well. Australia is also home to some of the most exotic flora and fauna life on the planet. Skim through some of the best places to visit in this maddeningly delightful nation.
Sydney
The residents of Sydney claim that it is the most liveable city in the world and it is also said that Sydney has the world’s most beautiful harbour. Visitors buying cheap tickets to Australia for a Sydney trip should brace themselves for endless exciting moments like catching cultural performances at the world renowned Opera House, freaking out at Bondi Beach, Kayakaying under the Harbour Bridge, or a trip down Australia’s historic memory lane at ‘The Rocks’ area. It is very hard to have any dull moments on a Sydney trip.
Melbourne
Melbourne denizens don’t agree that Sydney is the most liveable city in the world and claim this statement actually defines Melbourne. The truth maybe subjective but the fact is many travellers booking Australia flights do end up coming to Melbourne. With its numerous museums, galleries, and cultural events, the city is often said to the cultural capital of Australia. Some of the top sights in Melbourne are Royal Botanic Gardens, Phillip Island, National Gallery of Victoria International, and Eureka Skydeck 88.
Cairns
If you plan to take cheap holidays to Australia to experience the country’s magnificent natural beauty, then Cairns may very well fit the bill. Visitors get the chance to take snorkelling trips at the World Heritage Site of Great Barrier Reef and also indulge in some wonderfully exciting white water rafting. Going on a mesmerising train ride amidst post card perfect scenery to the time defying village of Kuranda, getting awed at the Esplanade, and exploring what is probably the world’s oldest rainforest – Cairns will give you a lifetime of memories.
When to Visit
The best time to visit Australia depends upon the place you plan to travel to. Summers in Australia last from December to February, while June to August is winter time. Winter is an off season time, especially for the southern regions. However, due to the chilly weather conditions and somewhat bleak business, winters provide higher chances of netting cheap airfares on economy as well as first and business class flights to southern Australia. A very popular time for visiting the country is the summer season.
Although, summers may not be the perfect time for planning cheap holidays, this is somewhat compensated by the glorious beach weather and the festive summer holiday mood that kicks in. Similarly, the different colourful festivals also make for excellent times for planning a trip all the way from London to Australia. Some of these festivals are Big Day Out, Chinese New Year, Australian Formula One Grand Prix, and Melbourne Film Festival.
